A non-denominational church in Hendersonville, TN // Sundays 9AM & 10:45AM //

No Service Wednesday, November 26th

aaron 2014 - CopyHappy Thanksgiving! This is a quick reminder that there is nothing scheduled at the church tonight due to the holiday. This Sunday we will have both services at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m., and it will be Family Sunday. All children Kindergarten and above will worship with us in the sanctuary. I pray for safe journeys for those who travel, and a joyful time of fellowship and gratitude for all this Thanksgiving. Our church has so much to be thankful for this year, and I am so blessed to get to lead this great family.

May the Lord bless you and keep you!

Water Baptism, Sunday, November 16

aaron 2014 - CopyWe are having water baptisms this Sunday!

When Jesus chose to be baptized in water, He stated that it was necessary to “fulfill all righteousness (Mt. 3:15).” This doesn’t mean water baptism saves us, but if we refuse to be baptized in water there is something incomplete in our walk with Christ.

Water baptism is an act that God requires of every believer.

You never read of an un-baptized Christian anywhere in the Bible.

A wedding ring is an outward sign that a person is married.
A military uniform is an outward sign that a person serves in a specific branch of the armed forces.
Similarly, water baptism is a symbol designed by God to identify a person as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Ultimately, it all goes back to Jesus’ statement in John 14:15. “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to e-mail, text or call me. I would love for you to make this step of obedience this Sunday.
